It is finally time to tell the big dogs of Hollywood to move aside, because there is a new “it” man in town. Coming all the way from Dublin, Ireland, with an accent that will melt female hearts and talent that will leave you in awe, ladies and gentlemen, I give you Domhnall Gleeson. The "m" is silent. He is taking cinema by storm and there’s nothing you can do to stop it. The man is sealing the deal on roles left and right. These roles aren’t just any of roles either. Let me break it down for you.

What do the movies "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," "The Revenant," "Brooklyn," "Ex Machina," and "Unbroken" all have in common? If you were thinking that they are all recent Oscar nominees, you’re right, but that’s not the answer I was looking for. Domhnall Gleeson is cast in every one of them. Not only does he appear in them, he plays major roles and does it like a long-time pro. I have been following his rise to power for a while, but I didn’t know the magnitude of it until I saw "Ex Machina." The film’s plot is not quite relatable, being a sci-fi, but Domhnall brings an honest and realistic element to the picture. This man has some serious talent.

It was to my utter surprise that Domhnall wasn't invited to the Golden Globe awards this year, seeing as he had a supporting role in so many nominees and winners. But, there is still hope with the Oscars that are coming up on February 28. Domhnall himself isn't nominated for any Academy Awards, but I'm sure he would enjoy seeing all of the movies he was in this year take home awards.

Now, Domhnall has gained enough momentum in Hollywood that he probably won’t have to worry about working ever again. His resume is already packed with high-caliber roles and he has only been in the business for a handful of years. He is also only 32, which means he has quite the prosperous career ahead of him. He is the fresh face that Hollywood needs. He has officially stolen the show and he is running away with it.
