Why we should take time to watch documentaries?
In our world of extremely sensitive people, i t's easy to become defensive and or want to jump down someone's throat as soon as they make it known that they do not agree with you. We've all been there, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Merriam-Webster defines an opinion as: "a belief, judgment, or way of thinking about something". It's interesting to take notice on how quickly we are to become annoyed or offended simply by the way someone else decides to live their life. And instead of listening to reply with a response, we should be listening to understand.
You absolutely do not need to agree or even comply with the others' opinion but should at the very least respect their point of view. This brings us to fixing this issue by simply expanding our general knowledge of the issues that surround us. We as society claim that we want peace and justice for these movements that we care about but continue to forget that it starts with us as individuals. Watching these documentaries might help motivate you or compassion to shorten the gap between differences, our hope for brighter futures,
