Dear Everyone I Was Once Close With,
I don't hate you, I promise. No matter what it be that brought us apart, a falling out, just becoming distant and growing apart, physical separation, any of that. None of that has given me cause to dislike you, nor could I ever- because if you were once close to me, that alone qualifies you to have a reserved space in my heart. I hope you don't hate me either. In fact, chances are I'm still proud of your accomplishments and cheering you on from afar! Just because we don't talk as much as we used to doesn't mean that I can't support you!
With that being said, I don't need to cheer you on from afar. I can cheer you on right by your side if you want me to. I can still support you, I can still listen to you, I can still try to help you with anything you need, and I'll do it all happily and willingly. I'm only a text, call, message, conversation away. I may have wronged you, you may have wronged me, no matter we can work through it if you're willing, because I'm always open to it. If you don't want to, that's entirely understood too. Just know there's no hard feeling.
If I was close to you a while ago and we've distance since then, know that I am a changed person. Life happens and changes everyone, and that may have been the very reason we grew apart. That's okay! If you ever want to catch up and talk for a little bit, I'd love to. I'm still me, just a grown and happier me.
Everyone I've been close with, there isn't enough space in a short letter to address each and every one of you individually, otherwise that would make it a very, very long letter. But I do still keep you dear to me, and if you want, I would be more than happy to catch up or just talk for a minute anytime.
