There are some cases where you want to buy something online but do not want to have a credit card or prefer not to use your credit card online. Fortunately, online marketers want their business so they have provided a number of ways of being able to shop online without using a credit card.

How to use PayPal for online purchases

PayPal allows you to merge your credit cards, debit cards, and bank accounts into your PayPal account, and then make purchases simply by using your email address and password. When you shop with PayPal, the seller does not collect your financial information.

Once you sign up for a PayPal account, it can be an easy way to shop online. Many sellers and resellers accept PayPal as a payment method. When you go to the cashier, you click the box with the PayPal option and you will be sent to the secure PayPal server to complete the checkout process. Some sellers also offer discounts if you pay with PayPal.

If you don't have PayPal account creates your PayPal account. It’s free to sign up.

What is Bill Me Later?

Many online marketers offer Bill Me Later option. If this option is available, usually seen after the posting the transport information, but first, you have to put in a credit card.

If you select "Bill Me Later," to complete the purchase using your address, date of birth, and sometimes the last four digits of the social security number. After completing the purchase, the user receives a bill, usually within 30 days. Some sellers offer 6+ months of free interest financing through Bill Me Later. These offers are subject to credit approval. Be sure to read the terms and conditions before completing the purchase.

Using gift cards to shop online

Gift cards are probably the closest option for money when it comes to shopping online. Many stores, grocery stores and drug stores now have Gift Card Stores, usually located in a closet near the front of the store, often from the card section. These stores have tons of gift cards to choose from, including many times retailers like Target, Amazon, and Home Depot. Usually, there are no fees associated with the use of gift cards.

To use the gift card online, continue to checkout as normal with your purchase. When you get paid, you'll see the option where you can put in a gift card code or promotion code.

You can also buy Visa / Amex gift cards and use them as if it were a credit card.

The use of prepaid cards instead of credit cards for online purchases

Prepaid cards are the cards that can be used as a debit or credit card. With prepaid cards, you recharge the money on the card, as you go. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and many banks offer prepaid cards. Prepaid cards are a great alternative for debit cards.

The disadvantage of prepaid cards is that many of them charge fees. You may be able to find a prepaid card that does not charge monthly or annual fees and does not require a credit check, such as Serve® paper from American Express.
