Since this week was finals week (aka hell week), I thought I would reflect on and share my favorite seven quotes that motivate and influence me.

Life is not meant to be easy. Every day will bring new challenges and sometimes it will feel like a punch in the face but no matter what life throws at you keep going, keep working and keep trying.
2.) “At the end of the day all you really own in this world is your integrity and once you give that up, you can’t ever buy it back.” – One Tree Hill
Nothing is more valuable than your integrity. It’s the most important thing we own and no amount of money or material possession is worth a penny of what your integrity cost.
3.) “Sleep in peace tonight, God is bigger than anything you will face tomorrow.” – Dave Willis
Enough said.
4.) “No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.” – Taylor Swift
If people look back on their life and remember you as a good person, you achieved more than any shiny car or big house could ever amount to.
5.) “Bruises build character.” - Unknown
This is something I like to say on the soccer field but it’s also relatable to life. Those metaphorical bruises we get, whether it’s heartbreak or the loss of a friend or loved one, they build our character. So, as much as they suck, we should try to appreciate them.
6.) “The hard times put the shine into the diamond.” – Dierks Bentley
Hard times are what make life memorable. In the difficult times, just remember that when you come out on the other side you’ll be stronger and wiser.

This quote is from a few years ago and there are actually 7,419,056,382 people in the world at this moment but the point remains the same. Whatever you are facing right now in your life, you are definitely not alone. But, also keep in mind, that out of all those people, all you need is one. One to push you off the edge or one to pull you back up, so try to be aware of what kind of “one” you are in someone else’s life.
