Netflix: the universally known word that means "Let me just binge watch away all of my problems and reject all of my responsibilities." That is essentially Netflix and there comes a time in every Netflix-Watchers career where they hit a block, they finish a monumental series and have nowhere to turn. Well, this should help you my dears. I have created a list of the best possible series to watch on Netflix and how they will get you out of your rut.

1. Grey's Anatomy

13 seasons. 13 seasons (and still counting) of pure greatness. The characters, their development, the emotional attachments, the plot twists. Let me just say that Shonda Rhimes is an epic genius that is extremely keen on knowing how to rip out one's heart. But still, honestly, this series will provide you with an amazing source of entertainment that frankly, even the most hardcore of binge watchers cant finish that in a week. You may hear rumors about all of the emotional turmoil and all of the ~SPOILER ALERT~ deaths of monumental characters, but I'm telling you, this is the best series to ever happen to me.

2. Sons of Anarchy

Okay, I'm honestly in the middle of this one but I need to talk about it and my love for Jax Teller (sidetone: I found a guy at my school who looks EXACTLY like the main character and I swear the swooning I went through was ~killer~). But I feel like this series gets over looked a lot and gets a bad reputation just because it's about a biker gang and is somewhat aggressive, but it's honestly amazing. The depth to the characters and the situations they get in are captivating and quite entertaining. And the features of cute guys in leather jackets are of NO shortage (my personal favs are Jax and Ope but that's all you get to know). If you're looking for action, some romance, humor, and more action packed into a series this is the one for you.

3. American Horror Story

Again in the middle of this one but frankly, I'm so easily scared of things that I was genuinely surprised when I took an interest in this series. But for those into thrillers, gore, suspense, mystery, romance and humor this is the show for you. Now a fore warning, every season the theme and characters change (the actors stay the same) so if that will mess with your head DON'T watch this. But in all honesty, the plot and character development within this show are what makes it such an amazing show. The things that they come up with are just genius.

4. Blue Mountain State

Where are all my football boys at? Every single football player has heard of or seen this series for themselves. And while it is filled with crude humor, lots of alcohol, sex and drugs, it is the epitome of college football players. Like we've all known a Thad Castle in our lives and just the fact that the humor here is so basic is what makes it so great. If you're not into crude humor then this isn't the best bet for you, but yet again, no shortage of cute guys just in football uniforms for this one. And another plus about this one is that the theme song is a total banger just within itself.

So there they are, my suggestions to remove yourself from your Netflix rut. They are all great picks and I'm sure there's more out there, I just haven't reached a rut yet. Binge on my fellow binge watchers, binge on.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
