Here we are, you beautiful humans. We made it. Three years down and one to go (236 days to be exact). We are on the downhill slide friends. Get in all the drinking till you pass out, the poor decisions, and using the excuse “I’m still in college”, because we all know we’re not alcoholics until we graduate.
I hope you know that you’re not alone if you still don’t know what the f*** you’re doing: we're all right there with you.
It's perfectly normal to question your sanity, your life choices and why the hell you haven't become a stripper yet by the third week of the semester.
If you think your mom should low key be getting a degree in psychology instead of you based on the number of mental breakdowns she has to work you through in a week, you're on the right track.
If you're literally afraid of looking at your bank account and the constant struggle between never wanting to work and needing money, having expensive taste and going out to eat five times a week, you're doing it right.
Due date:11:59PM.
If you get naseous at the thought of getting a grown-up job, applying for grad school, making adult decisions and not being able to turn up on a Tuesday just because, we feel you.
If you think you look like an idiot when you forget where you park after a 50 minute class, you're right on the money, but you're not the only one.
If when listening to opinionated people talk in lectures you wonder how the hell they still have the energy to contribute to discussions and why they still believe they won't get full credit for participation otherwise, you might be ready for graduation.
A couple hundred Dunkin iced coffees, a few heartbreaks, a LOT of booze, four birthdays you don't remember, and enough ramen to end world hunger. College has been one hell of an expensive ride. I promise you're doing far better than you think. Congrats, you made it to senior year. I hope you've learned that it's okay to cry when you run out of hot pockets, Netflix binging should be an olympic sport, and Sundays are for serious H&H (hangovers and homework). Now let's finish this thing and get graduated...hopefully we'll all feel better about adulting by May.
