There are officially only two more months of high school left and seniors are starting to feel the bite of "senioritis." In honor of Bob's Burgers season five releasing on Netflix this month, it felt appropriate to depict the struggles of every senior as shown through the popular show.
Being stressed out all the time. And I mean ALL the time.
Although there are people suffering in third world counties, all of your homework, on top of your social life, on top if your work life all seem to be more of a struggle than what starving children are going through.
Telling everyone you're fine when you're clearly not fine.
Whenever a friend or family member asks how you're doing, your response is always, "I'm fine," with giant smile plastered on your face.
Being under the influence three out of five school days.
Even if you're not high or drunk, someone in your class most likely is.
Before every test you need to remind yourself of a few things.
For some reason, filling your head with inspirational thoughts before a test or quiz doesn't increase your grade. For some odd reason.
Trying to act like you're paying attention in class when you literally have no clue what's going on.
During a lecture, the teacher always asks whether or not you understand but you never really do.
Getting called out of class.
When the announcement comes over the intercom for you to go to the office, a look of admiration falls over everyone else's face as you walk out the room.
Thinking about which college you're going to, who you're rooming with, and/or how you're going to pay for all of it.
Not only do you have to choose which college you're going to, but you need to find a roommate who you'll like and then figure out how to pay for tuition, rooming, etc.
When the teacher tells you there's a pop quiz.
"Pop quiz today!" ... *eye twitch*
When you get your pop quiz back with a failing grade.
When you think that you actually did a good job on your pop quiz but then you get it back and you realize you completely failed it.
Feeling like you're dying. All the time.
After school, during school, and everything in between makes you feel like you're dying.
But in just two short months, you'll be feeling the wind in your hair and never have to return to high school again!
... unless you flunk out.
