Senior spring: a time when the college fun starts to come to an end and you have never panicked so hard about the future in your life. At least for me, senior spring is already going by way too fast and i wish i could just go back to being a baby freshman. As this semester continues to fly by, here are ten thoughts i'm having as i try to figure out my life as college is coming to an end.

1. When do I start applying for jobs?

Probably needed to start applying yesterday, but who's counting.

2. Am I actually ready to real-life adult?

I'm gonna go ahead and say the answer to that is uhh no.

3. I don't think I'm ready to graduate.

Am I?

4. Actually, I know I'm not ready to graduate.

Yeah no, not ready.

5. I'm not ready to give up Saturday AYCD just yet

How am i supposed to go to the cheapest drinks ever to having to spend a fortune on just one cocktail? Being old sucks.

6. What if I trip on stage at graduation?

My high school fear of tripping on stage is becoming a reality once again.

7. Maybe I should take a victory lap.

One more year wouldn't hurt right? Sorry Dad.

8. Why are my hangovers 10x worse once I hit senior year?

The older you get the worse the hangovers are and that is just cruel.

9. How did college go by so quickly?

I blinked and the past four years have flown by. Can i get a re-do?

10. Nope, not ready for this.

Help, I've fallen and can't get up.

And the panic sets in. Don't even talk to me about what I'm doing and where I'm going because your guess is as good as mine. But don't worry, i'll have it figured out by the time graduation rolls around no matter how many tears i shed on the way there.

So to my fellow seniors... Happy senior Spring! May the odds be ever in your favor.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
