The end is coming. We are now in the month of April. The last full month of college for most students. But as classes come to a close, the workload is amped up. There's papers, projects, practicals, and exams and it seems that this time of year adds a whole other level of stress and problems to college students. The amazingly talented cast of "Grey's Anatomy," perfectly describes what it is like in the life of a college student at the end of the semester.
Coming back from spring/easter break and realizing your lack of a workload is extremely unsettling:
Because you know what is to come in the next few weeks will be too much to handle.
Comparing your workload for the next few weeks with your friends workload:
Bragging to your friends that you'll get to go home the earliest after checking the final exam schedule:
Sucking up to your professors for a little extra credit:
Just smile, nod, and laugh and that extra credit is all yours.
Explaining to your parents why your grades are what they are:
What the week before finals consists of:
And lots and lots of stress-eating
When the all-nighters and constant stress finally initiate a mental breakdown(s):
Coming out of your finals like:
And the best therapy is to order some pizza and lay around with friends:
But realizing you're done for the semester and summer break is upon you:
So, my fellow stressing college students, brace yourself for a tough few weeks. It may seem like a lot of work at the time but in the end, it's for your future career. So, work hard like our favorite residents and interns of Seattle Grace Hospital and the summer will be soon upon you.
