We know it all too well already. All-nighters, whether that's actually in the library, or that's just where you told your parents you are. Well, welcome back to another semester full of them. Here are some typical second semester moments, as told by the 73rd Annual Golden Globes. Good luck to all of you, and may the curve be ever in your favor!
1. When you check the syllabus and you don't have any tests on Fridays
That means that Thirsty Thursday is about to get a lot more fun
2. When you have to pretend to laugh at your professors jokes
Your jokes seriously suck, but if this counts as participation, I might have to bring can laughter.
Ugh it's tough for me to see you on my Newsfeed, let alone sit in class with you for almost an hour.
4. When you think you did great on the test, and then you got it back…
Mom: "How did you do, sweetie?!" Me: "I think I did well!!" [Next day.] "Hi, Mom...."
5. When you remember what you did the night before
Omg, HAHAHAH this picture, I'm dying...
6. When the professor sees you on your phone
[Quickly shuffles stuff to pretend you was doing something else.]
7. When you and your friend missed class and have no idea what is going on
True story, one time a kid in my art class didn't know the teacher switched the final because he skipped the last two classes and he saw me studying one morning on the bus, and he asked me when our final was. It was ten minutes later.....
8. When there’s a cute boy in your class
Don't worry, soon enough, you'll find out he's a weirdo, or he's taken... happens to the best of us.
9. When someone told you won’t pass the class without a textbook
You can save 15 percent or more by just not buying the textbook
10. When you remember its cold outside
I don't know what's worse, this class or the thought of having to bundle up again
11. When you need to tell your brain to chill out during class
One thought at a time!
12. When you are peer-reviewing someone else’s paper
He used the word "Batrachomyomachy..." OK, there is NO chance he actually wrote this...
13. When you realize you forgot to submit your assignment
"Oh I'm sure the teacher will understand" [Thinks realistically for one minute.] Oh no...
14. When someone is standing behind you waiting for you to pack up
WALK AROUND ME. Now that I see you're waiting, I'm taking my time.
15. When you remember how long you have until football season
Take me back to fall...
