Where does your favorite season of AHS fall on the list?

Seasons of American Horror Story Ranked

I am OBSESSED with American Horror Story. I have always loved scary movies, but I’m not into the super torturey/blood-and-guts type. I am the kind of girl that likes a good storyline, creepy-ghostly stuff, jump scares and plenty of twists and turns. Throw in a little bit of Evan Peters — and you have got me hooked.

For those of you who don’t know, American Horror Story is a different story every season. Most of the actors and actresses continue through the seasons, but play completely different characters.

The other day I was asked what my favorite season of American Horror Story was. I had never really thought about it – I just love them all so much. I decided to sit down and actually weigh the pros and cons of each season to rank them from the worst to the best.

6. Freak Show (Season 4)

To me, this season was easily the worst one. I was so excited for season four of AHS because a freak show has so much potential for horrifying things. Though this season did have its scary moments, I often found myself bored and thought the plot was predictable.

5. Roanoke (Season 6)

Even though the plot twist in episode 6 (no spoilers) was cool, it definitely did not live up to my extremely high expectations for this season. All of the “6?” teasers before the show were so awesome. AHS Roanoke is unique from all of the other seasons in that it is documentary style, but I feel like the cutaways are unnecessary and waste a lot of my precious AHS time. It seems like there is not enough going on during this season in comparison to previous seasons.

4. Asylum (Season 2)

Okay, now this is where it gets tricky. Besides AHS Freak Show and AHS Roanoke, all of the other seasons of American Horror Story are pure gold. The one downfall I found with AHS Asylum is that there might have been too much going on … demons, insane asylum patients, aliens, monsters and psychotic murders, oh my.

I have seen this season three times and still don’t understand the alien part.

Asylum is definitely the scariest season of American Horror Story. I think the producers of American Horror Story might have tried to tone it down a little bit after this season. It was great, but it was twisted.

3. Hotel (Season 5)

I loved Lady Gaga in this season. I didn’t think I would, but I did. My expectations going into this season were low because it followed the Freak Show and I heard season five of AHS received bad reviews. AHS Hotel blew my expectations out of the water. It had the perfect amount of scary parts and an easy to follow yet interesting plot. This season is filled with lots of blood, because the main angle of the season is vampires.

2. Murder House (Season 1)

Season one ranks so high on my list because it is the season where I fell in love. I fell in love with American Horror Story and I fell in love with Tate and Violet. This season is not as scary as some of the other seasons, but it is so emotional. Watching AHS Murder House is a roller coaster of emotions. Season one of American Horror Story has a great story line that really makes the viewer connect with the characters.

1. Coven (Season 3)

Overall, I would have to say Coven is my favorite season of American Horror Story. I love that this season takes place in a modern time, and I love all of the magical witch powers. Of course, this season is really scary and the plot is unpredictable and interesting. I never wanted this season of American Horror Story to end!

I have heard rumors that season seven is going to be a runoff of Coven. Fingers crossed that it is!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
