To all of the die-hard "Pretty Little Liars" fans out there, the time has come. A new season has begun, and more twists and turns in the Liars' lives will surely unfold before our eyes. If you're like me, you've been dying for this moment to finally come. We all have been on the edge of our seats crying, "Where's Hanna?" and "Is she dead?" We've been worrying about Allison's health and how she's going to make it. We've been completely frustrated with all of the romantic situations ever since the five-year fast-forward, that threw us for a loop last season, changed everything, and we have been waiting for a resolution. Worst of all, we still want to know who killed Charlotte and who is antagonizing the Liars once again.

The Season 7 premiere definitely surprised us. There were several unexpected events and jaw-dropping moments. Here's why the Season 7 premiere of "Pretty Little Liars" blew our minds (spoiler alert!):

1. When Hanna was dead but not actually dead

So this was probably the most frustrating part of the entire episode. Seeing Hanna hanging, we were probably thinking, "She can't actually be dead, she's Hanna!" Then, we see Caleb's reaction and our hearts break. He pulls her down and ... it's a doll?! Seriously?

2. When Alison went nuts

There may be a sort of love/hate relationship between the "Pretty Little Liars" audience and Alison DiLaurentis, but to see her in such bad shape really broke our hearts, while at the same time making us even more terrified of her.

3. When we could have sworn Jessica DiLaurentis was somehow not dead

We're right there with you, Emily. It was unreal to see Mary Drake walking around town looking just like Mrs. D. And if that wasn't enough...

4. When Mary Drake seriously gave us the creeps

Again, well said, Emily! Her if her demeanor isn't creepy enough, let us not forget Mary Drake's eerie past in Radley and with Charlotte and now with Rollins. Her conversation with Spencer sent us over the edge:

5. When we watched Hanna being tortured

Because thinking Hanna was dead at the beginning wasn't enough, let's throw into the mix clips of her being locked up and tortured.

6. When our hearts were crying for Ezria

Ezra and Aria's relationship has always been extremely difficult. From the very beginning theirs has been a story of forbidden love. In the midst of all this chaos, including Aria's sticky relationship back home, Ezria must come to terms with what Ezria even is anymore.

7. When Hanna was "visited" by Spencer

Visions and dreams aren't really new to "Pretty Little Liars," but to see Hanna envision Spencer there with her, comforting her, was surprising, especially considering the Caleb drama that took place last episode. However, it was heartwarming to watch their moment together.

8. When Emily found the red coat, and Caleb made a bold move

The ending of this episode was very shocking, however it should surprise us that Caleb is willing to do anything for his Hanna, if it means confronting this "A," or any "A" that has ever been. Throughout the episode he was determined to do everything in his power for Hanna, even to the point of neglecting his relationship with Spencer. It will be interesting to see where this takes us in future episodes. All in all, this was an incredibly excited season premiere and we are all waiting for more to come!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
