We have finally reached the end of season four of "Bates Motel" and what a journey it has been. However, there is still much more for Bates fans to look forward to. Season five has been planned to premiere in March 2017. Lets just take a moment to process season four and all the craziness that came along with it.

Norman Bates has completely lost his mind. I don’t think any episode gave me more chills than the ending of episode 9 “Forever”. I made the not so wise decision of watching this episode right before I went to bed completely in the dark. I couldn’t sleep because all I could hear in my head was the song “Mr. Sandman,” which who would have thought could be actually so creepy?

I know all of us fans hoped that the final episode would show Norma’s recovery. It honestly took me the entire episode to accept the fact that the carbon monoxide poisoning actually killed her. Of course, we all know that Norma’s time was coming. I always expected her death to be much more violent by Norman. However, I think the producers made such a wise to decision to have her killed this way. Norma’s death was unlike any other murders Norman has committed. It was in a sense a “loving” way to not only end the life of his mother, but attempt to end his as well.

According to executive producer Kerry Ehrin, it was not an easy decision to end the life of Norma Bates. In an interview with Variety she said, “In the back of our heads, of course, we knew this is where we were going but when we finally had to put down our own denial, and say 'we have to do it now,' it was extremely hard. Tears were shed.”

However, though Norma Bates is gone we haven’t seen the last of Vera Farmiga. With Norman throwing out the rest of his medication in the final episode, he is doing all he can to keep the image of her alive. His hallucinations will continue much more vividly which means much more of scenes with “Mother”.

We can’t forget the progression of Dylan and Emma’s relationship throughout all this madness. Dylan has turned out to be a caring and normal human being despite his crazy family.

We found out in the last episode that Dylan not only doesn’t know about his mother’s passing, but Norman doesn’t tell him. Why? Well, for one, once Dylan finds out the situation he will clearly know it was by Norman’s doing. Dylan and Romero know that Norman is sick and what he is capable of.

One of the saddest parts about this whole season is that no matter how much help Norman received for his mental illness, none of it mattered. There was a time when Norman broke down in front of his doctor, Gregg Edwards, explaining that he knows he needs help.

But if there is one thing Norman is best at, it is putting on a show. With the death of his mother, all of his treatment and medication has been thrown away. (Pun intended)

With a whole new season on board, we are going to see the famous Norman Bates fully fleshed out. The producers have left an entire season for us to enjoy of Norman completely losing his mind. What can we for sure look forward to in this next season?

According to Ehrin, “The thing that I personally love about the fifth season is that still at the center of it is everybody’s love for Norma Bates. That obsessive love that people have for her is still what propels them and is at the center of all of their actions, and she still lives on in that sense. She’s very much present in terms of what is motivating everybody. I think that’s actually lovely.”

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
