Scrubs and Harry Potter, two of my absolute favorite things. For all of you fellow nerds out there (I know you're there), here's the main characters of the iconic medical television show sorted into their Hogwarts houses. You're welcome, and enjoy.

1. John Dorian-Gryffindor

Oh, JD. The heart and soul of the show. He's kind like a Hufflepuff, and smart like a Ravenclaw which makes him insanely difficult to place. However, because of his love for his friends (Turk), I think that he would be best placed in Gryffindor. He's kind, loyal to his friends and family, and always tries to do the right thing. Although he's close to a Hufflepuff, his loyalty and perseverance when it comes to his patients and his friends definitely makes him a Gryffindor.

2. Elliott Reid-Ravenclaw

Despite being completely crazy, Elliott is a complete Ravenclaw. She studied harder than any other doctor on the show, and was so smart that it ruined her social skills just a bit. She was smart enough to land a fellowship (though she lost it soon after), and was able to support herself after her dad cut her off. And I mean, she didn't give into the pressure to go Gynie squad, which was probably one of the smartest decisions she ever made. Although she's completely neurotic, Elliott is a Ravenclaw through and through.

3. Christopher Turk-Gryffindor

This one was easy, Turk is a total Gryffindor just like his BFF. He's a cocky surgeon, but in a way that makes him a better person. He does the best he can for his patients, and he's always trying to be the best husband and father, as well as the best buddy to JD. He has a huge heart, but isn't afraid to show off when it needs to happen. JD and Turk are basically the medical version of Ron and Harry (though they might be a bit closer).

4. Carla Espenoza-Hufflepuff

Carla is a momma bear, so a complete Hufflepuff. She's always been the mothering figure, and she's kind to everyone she meets. Or until they give her a reason not to. Carla can be feisty, but it's not her dominating trait. Hufflepuff would love to have the spunky, mothering nature of Carla.

5. Perry Cox-Slytherin

Aw, Perry. He has his redeeming moments, but overall he's a total Slytherin. He's mean, rude, and is usually a complete jackass to everyone he meets. He constantly gets in his own way, and has a temper that could rival an angry grizzly bear. And yeah, he's had his moments with Jordan and Jack and little JD, but overall he's a chocolate covered bastard with bastard filling.

Personally, I think Hogwarts would have been a little bit more interesting if they had had Turk and JD running around screaming EAGLEEEEEE, Elliott rambling with Hermione in her high-pitched squeak, Carla mothering everyone in Spanish, and Perry going on his daily rants about idiotic students and professors.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
