The experience of watching television has changed dramatically over the past 10 years. With DVR, Netflix, Hulu, and even features like On Demand, you don't have to worry about falling a week behind on your favorite shows. One thing that hasn't gotten easier, though, is finding something to watch. I don't know about anyone else, but I know that trying to pick out a show to watch can take me forever. It's a big commitment, to give so much of your time to something, and it is important to make sure that you are going to like this show that you, potentially, will be dedicating time to.

When I was home from college over Christmas break, I was trying to find something to watch and when I was scrolling down the list of shows that were popping up on On Demand, there was one title that caught my eye--"Scream Queens." I hadn't really heard much about this show, but after reading the little blurb that On Demand offered, I figured that I would give it a shot. I'm going to be honest with you, from the moment that I hit play, I did not regret my choice. I was instantly hooked! The sharpness of the characters, the hilarity of the situations, the thrill and mystery behind the Red Devil Killer, this show truly does have it all. I ended up watching the entire series in two days and I was a little disappointed in myself--not because I spent two days doing nothing but watching television, but because I didn't savor the show in the way that I should have. Now, having re-watched the show, I realized how much I missed the first time around; picking up on the subtle clues to the Red Devil mystery, getting another chance to hear Chanel Oberlin's myriad of one-liners that both offend you and make you laugh out loud, the frustration Radwell family, and the often comedic slip-ups of Secure Enforcement Solutions Officer Denise Hemphill. This show is definitely one that can be watched again and again.

For fans of comedy, horror, romance, or drama--I would highly recommend this show for you. With characters like The Chanels, Dean Munsch, The Dickie Dollar Scholars, and even Denise Hemphill, "Scream Queens" is a shoo-in to go down in television history. With season two in the works, I cannot wait to see what could possibly come next. To say that I'm excited would be an understatement!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
