How Sound Waves From God May Have Created The Universe

Sound can shatter glass, so why couldn't it create matter?

How Sound Waves From God May Have Created The Universe
Examined Life Living

When people think about the beginning of the universe, they will most likely answer that the Big Bang Theory was the reason behind it. But no one ever stops to think about the transition of the billions and trillions of particles aligning to create the universe we know today, with all its stars and planets.

Sure, scientists will say that the denser objects started to draw in the less dense objects, slowly over time creating planets. But there are quite a few reasons that this doesn't make sense. Why are there different elements? What is the reasoning behind a perfect planet in the perfect place for human life? What is the reasoning behind Dark Matter? Why did the known universe start out so orderly with set physical limitations and why is the natural entropy increasing?

If there are physical rules then there must have been someone who created those rules to work in every single situation possible. This leads us to a creator, an Intelligent Designer who has created this universe and all the beautifully complex things in it, and this is the logic behind HOW He did it.

There is quite a bit of evidence that sound waves were crucial in creating the universe. Think about it, scientists all agree that there was a big bang, a massive sound! It jump started the entire creation process and propelled all these elements into the depth of space. That big bang was probably the loudest that could ever be heard in the universe, until the end of time.

The logic is that sound waves are a force that travel through particles, and you had every single particle possible. So it was a reaction with the entire universe. It had the power to create the universe in that one instant, so is it such a large leap in logic to say that God was the one who utilized that moment?

In the Bible, Genesis 1:3 states "And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. " It simply shows the power of God speaking. In John 1: 1-3 it also states "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.He was with God in the beginning.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. " He was the Word, a spoken form of sound. Even when the angels are interacting with God like in Job 38: 4-7:

"Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone—
while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted for joy?"

This makes it apparent that God works in the medium of sound often, and it’s an interesting thought to see what is possible with the Big Bang Theory. Even in this verse, it says the stars sang together. The manipulation of sound waves could be the key to unlocking the actual process of creation.

So now there needs to be proof that sounds waves can be used to create something. Well, a sound wave in itself is a created idea. There needs to be a source for it to start moving, and for there to be a reaction like the Big Bang, there needed to be a catalyst to start the process. This is a proof for an Intelligent Designer, but moving on. A sound wave is the movement of particles in a certain way to create the vibrations in the air. So those vibrations are moving the particles in a certain way. Right now, a sound can be increased in power, or in wavelength to create music, but it can also be used to destroy something.

An opera singer has the power in their voice to shatter glass, and this is because the resonance of the glass with the same frequency of the singer is being amplified to the point of warping the internal structure of the glass to eventually break the bonds and break the glass. It’s possible then to affect the bonds and structure of an object purely with the manipulation of those particles from an outside source, in this case sound!

Humans are still working out how exactly to manipulate a sound wave in just the right way to do this process more effectively. But is it possible for the sound wave itself to have enough power and control to affect the structure of an object in a positive way? This is a question unto itself that is still in the realm of "undiscovered."

So now there are two sides to this issue: God uses sound and sound has the ability to affect the known universe. It is just an idea, but this may be the way God chose to create the universe. From another perspective, sound does not travel in a vacuum, also known as space. This is because there is an absence of anything; no air, no material, for the sound to move through.

But could you not also say that everything that was there in space is now drawn to certain dense objects including stars, planets, and asteroids? So there was a medium for sound to travel through at the very start, when there were particles all clumped together, and now the particles are in their proper places, therefore creating a non-dense "space."

This is all speculation of course, but it is reasonable speculation, and an interesting topic to think about. Thinking about where we came from is usually on everyone’s mind, and new theories rarely involve the melding of science and religion, but this theory does.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
