Many of you are in the process of packing up your boxes of things, saying good-bye to all of your friends from home, and figuring out how to buy all of your books for under $100. That means that it is that beautiful back to school time. I mean you are excited to go back and see all of your college friends and get that taste of freedom, but that also includes the crazy schedule; all of the home work; and unpacking everything into a tiny dorm. So, since I like gifs, I am going to share some tips on coming back to school.

Tip #1: Boxes are a traveler's best friend. You are going to think that you have everything packed and realize after a majority of things are in the car, that there is a ton of little stuff that still needs to make its way in your car. Toss it in a box. Everything should be in a box because it is easy to stack and transfer.

Tip #2: Car rides to school need a fire playlist. As you are thinking about getting back into the swing of things you may get bored. So, music that makes you dance is helpful and it can be used during the unpacking stage. Also podcasts like The Read and others out there are pretty funny to listen to if you aren't feeling music.

Tip #3: Unpack your car immediately. If you wait, you're going to want to keep pushing it off, and that random person walking by will not be there to help you transfer everything from your car to your room.

Tip #4: Fix the furniture and your bed before anything. Don't pass go. Don't collect $200 before you have figured out where everything goes and you make up your bed, because at some point you are going to be overwhelmed with all of the crazy.

Tip #5: It is okay to lay in your bed and wonder why you have so much stuff. Honestly breaks are a must, and after a while you wonder why you have 200 pencils, 50 t-shirts, a ton of half used notebooks, and 7 pairs of scissors. (It is probably time to downgrade and consider becoming a minimalist.)

Tip #6: Go out and do something. Unpacking sucks so if your friends are on campus go and say hey and catch up for a bit before you have to go back to the mountain of boxes and clothes. Or go to a coffee shop or McDonald's alone and step away.

Tip #7: Netflix is a must. You are running out of days before you have to feel guilty about watching 15 hours straight of Parks and Rec. So, multitask and watch your show and put away those glass figurines or action figures you just had to bring from home.

Tip #8: You can take things home later. Chances are you don't need some of the things you brought. Yes, you can toss them, but you can also take them home because they may be needed in the future.

Tip #9: Command strips are a dorm's best friend. If you are like me, you need a ton of these little strips to put up the countless of posters and such up on your wall. {Pro Tip: sticky tack is pretty boss}

Tip #10: The Little Stuff are Important. You are going to want to remember the little stuff. That air freshener is actually a must. Snacks are never a bad idea. Cleaning supplies should happen.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
