At Augusta University, we have something called Clubfest at the beginning of every semester. All of the organizations on campus get together and recruit new members and it's awesome. This semester's Clubfest is this week and in honor of that, here are some of the organizations that members of the team at The Odyssey at Augusta University are a part of.

1. Greek Life

2. College Republicans

3. Campus Outreach

4. Student Education Association

5. Orientation Leader

We love our organizations for many reasons, whether it be based off values, politics, leadership, future careers, or a place to find your home away from home, campus involvement is a great part of being in college. I encourage anyone that hasn't found an organization to do so, you may just find your closest friends.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
