We all have some unpopular opinions, whether or not they're serious or not, you can't deny that we all have them. While many people won't talk about these unpopular opinions, I will because I simply don't really care. So judge me if you will, here are some of my unpopular opinions.
1. Memes Really Aren't All That Funny.
I don't understand why memes are a thing, to be honest. I don't find them amusing and most of the time they are (to me) confusing, offensive or annoying.
2. Makeup Does Not Make Us "Fake" Or "Deceiving."
I'm sure you've seen the posts of girls with and without makeup plastered on Facebook with the caption "this is why you take a girl swimming on the first date." Yes there's a difference between a bare face and a full face of makeup but regardless, we don't put on makeup to please other people, we don't put on makeup to hide what we have. Makeup is something we put on to enhance what we have and to feel good.
3. Loft House Soft Frosted Sugar Cookies...Disgusting.
Sugar cookies are bomb as hell, but whoever came up with these sugar cookie wannabe's needs to stop making them. They taste like play-doh, and the texture is just...ugh. Straight up disgusting. I'll be sticking to my fresh oven-baked sugar cookies.
4. Instagram Stories. Why??
What is the point of having Instagram stories? We already have snapchat and most of the time I only see people to use to promote their snapchats. It's an unnecessary addition and quite honestly a waste of space.
5. Sphynx Cats. Yes Please.
Nearly hairless and in their glory, sphynx cats have taken over my feels. Not only are they naked and alien-eyed but they are adorable and wrinkly, as well. Not quite sure why people don't like them, but they're probably my favorite breed of cat.
6. The Word "Moist."
Dear god, please remove this word from the dictionary. Even writing it makes me cringe. I'm not sure why but that word makes me feel so gross and I refuse to use it otherwise.
7. Body Modification In The Workplace
I think body modification should be allowed in the workplace. Personally, I feel that there can be a balance of professionalism and self expression put into the career world. While many people see this as completely absurd, body modifications don't define a persons work ethic, they don't define a person in general and while modification should obviously be taken into consideration, it shouldn't stand in the way of someone receiving employment in any establishment or field.
We're all entitled to our own opinions, wether they're favored or not. The more we share, the more insight we get on each other. Share some of your unpopular opinions and see who agrees or disagrees. The more you know.
