April Fools' Day is often a day that is overlooked. To many people, however, it's the one day out of the year where prank wars ensue with reckless abandon. Here is a list of the top ten most savage pranks one can pull on April Fools' Day.

Bored at the office? Are the Grey walls of your cubicle making you and your co-workers depressed? Is that poster of some evergreen forest not giving your co-worker the level of escapism he or she needs? Not a problem. With the, "Turn Your Keyboard Into a Chia Pet Prank," you can turn that boring old keyboard into a lovely miniature shrubbery. In 2014, Youtuber, Mindstork, uploaded a video of him doing just that. Since then, many have pranked their friends in similar ways. All joking aside, I'd advise pranksters to gauge their audience carefully to avoid the ire of their employers.

8. Mashed Potato Sundae

Ice cream sundaes are great? You know what else is great? Pranking your friends. This prank is self-explanatory. You prepare, your friend, relative, or significant other what they think is an ice cream sundae. The trick is to use mashed potatoes that look similar to vanilla ice cream and gravy that looks similar to caramel. After topping it off with a cherry, sit back and watch as hilarity ensues.

7. Nick Cage meme

For this one, you'll need access to a friends phone or laptop and the Google Play store. You want to search for a Google Chrome extension called Ncage. The extension is brilliant in that, once activated, all images become images of Nick Cage's face until the extension is disabled. Have fun!

6. Air Horn Door Stopper

For fans of the Golf Course Air Horn from the "Jackass" films, this next one is a step down from that. All that is required is some duck tape, an air horn and a bit of elbow grease for an application. Line the air horn up with the door handle and you're in business.This works best when your friends are just waking up and on doors that swing outward. The prank is a variation of the ever popular "Air Horn Chair Prank."

5. Mustard in The Chocolate Bunny Trick

This is one of the most savage pranks that you can pull on anyone, especially with Easter and April Fools' falling on the same day. Poke a hole through the tin foil and chocolate and fill the bunny with mustard. When your friends take a bite, they'll be in for a surprise.

4. Insect Lamps

Liquid ass is a joke-item that gained popularity on Amazon a few years back. Multiple Amazon customers have used it to prank their spouses and co-workers. Most Amazon reviews entail stories of people cleaning out their cars to no avail or taking the stairs instead of the rancid smelling elevator. The ad requested that people call in, give their best goat impressions and hang up. The first call came in at 5 A.M. and by the end of the day, the gentleman's voicemail was full of goat noises. How is that for savage?
