Kanye West's Nervous Breakdown

Saint Pablo has been Cancelled

Kanye West has cancelled the rest of his Saint Pablo tour after having a breakdown on stage in Sacramento. West has also been becoming increasingly angry with artists such as Jay-Z and Beyoncé; spreading rumors that if he would've voted in the upcoming election, he would've voted for Donald Trump. Recently, he has been checked into the UCLA Medical Center after being handcuffed and hospitalized for having a nervous breakdown according to the Washington Post.

What we know as of right now, is that West is now being put on psychiatric hold and for now the tour is being cancelled with no site of it being post-poned to a later time. According To US Weekly writer Joyce Chen, she states that "West was sent into rehab due to sleep deprivation and being put under a lot of stress in light of recent events that have occurred".

All tickets that were purchased for the tour have been refunded, a few of those people do include my friend and I; both of us had been preparing to see him at the Palace of Auburn Hills this December. Am I really upset about all this? Frankly, I don't give a damn. It's pretty normal for West to pull some of this stuff off. I do understand that he is an artist and that it is sometimes hard for musicians to be working as hard as they do. But does anyone remember when he said "George Bush doesn't care about black people"? It seems like he will almost say anything just to get good publicity these days. I still do believe that even though he has said some crazy stuff over the years, there could be some sympathy for how hard he works.

Tours can become difficult and stars can become mentally fatigued, upset, and they just want some time for themselves. However, I also understand that most of the stress that West could be having could be from his mother dying. For those of you who don't know, his mother died November 10th, 2007, which makes this a very hard month for West and his family. In another article by HollywoodLife, reported that he has still not gotten over his mothers death from 8 years ago and that he still hasn't forgiven over what happened and technically blames it all on him. What we also know, is that his wife Kim Kardashian-West has been by his side this whole time, and it seems like he will have a speedy recovery.

But for now, I do have something to say. As much as I love Kanye West's music, and how much I respect him as an artist, I am very much getting sick of these antics that he has been pulling as of late and I wish they would stop. Right now, I don't know what to think of this whole situation, but I do hope for West to have a speedy recovery and then when he comes out of rehab, he becomes a better human being and a better artist from all of this. For now, the Saint Pablo tour has been cancelled which the fans of Kanye West will have to deal with, but at this moment, all we can do is give the family space and just hope that he gets out of rehab soon.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
