These movies never fail to make me cry even after watching them several times (and I have watched a handful of them a multitude of times).
1. Bridge to Terabithia
I have seen this movie at least five times and everytime I call my parents crying that the movie ending was so sad. This happened as recently as a year ago when I was 20.
2. Hotel Rwanda
I started watching this movie in my AP World History Class my sophomore year of high school. I loved it so much, I went home to finish watching the movie and regretted it an hour later when I finished having a long, ugly cry.
3. Finding Neverland
A live action take on a childhood favorite, I went into the movie expecting it to be upbeat. To my surprise, it was not. However, the movie is still one of my favorites.
4. Tuck Everlasting
A movie about immortality, Tuck Everlasting is a tear inducing tale of young love.
5. My Girl
A touching movie about two kids who are best friends that has a heart-wrenching twist.
6. Good Will Hunting
Remembering a great actor and comedian gone, Robin Williams stars in this moving flick with Matt Damon.
7. Life is Beautiful
The sadness level of this movie may have been diminished due to the fact that I was forced to watch this movie during English class and could not allow myself to ugly cry and, as such, I distracted myself from the plot of the movie frequently.
8. Pay It Forward
A surprise ending takes this inspiring movie from heart warming to heart breaking.
9. A Walk to Remember
The story of a surprising couple takes an unexpected and depressing turn.
10. Bambi
This movie makes the list simply because it is a movie whose demographic is young children and the movie could be traumatic for children who are unfamiliar with the concept of death.
11. Up
Up includes the melancholic memories of a man who is still in love with his wife who passed away.
