Dear Graduates,
Today is the day that you graduate. After four years, you’re finally done with undergrad. You’ll walk across the stage and receive a diploma that you worked your butt off for. You’ve learned so much over these past four years. Now it’s time for your next stage of life; The Real World.
We’ve had our ups and downs this year. We’ve all had that mental breakdown which results in us lying on the kitchen floor crying. We learned that I get stressed and take it out on you both. We had so many amazing nights and beautiful hikes. We raised two animals together, which truly was a handful. We ate a lot of buffalo chicken dip. Drank a lot of wine.
So today, on your graduation day, I want to give you a few words of wisdom:
You both are more beautiful than you think. You have beauty inside and out and don’t forget about that.
You are strong independent women, that don’t need no man! You can fight your own fights and stand up for yourself because you all are strong.
You are kind, caring and compassionate. You love everyone and would do anything for anyone.
When you find that amazing husband, make sure he treats you well. Because you deserve the world.
Have fun every day and don’t worry about a thing. Everything is meant to be and, eventually, it will find its way.
I’ve learned so much from you girls these past nine months. You have taught me to be free and to love myself. You’ve given me so many compliment’s and advice this semester. I can’t thank you enough for that. You have taught me that, although, you may not like me at this moment, you’ll always love me. Mostly, you have taught me to laugh and have fun, even if I don’t want to. I thank you for all that you’ve taught me and done for me this semester. You both will always have a special place in my heart.
Cheers to our Greys nights, snow shoveling parties, Tofu dinners, dance parties and a great year.
Thank you guys so much for everything that you’ve done for me.
Love,
Me
PS: Thank you for your stuff you didn't want to move back home! It'll go great in my dorm next semester.
