1. You end up sharing clothes.
Even with all of the things you brought to college, you're inevitably going to run low on something or accidentally leave something at home over winter break. Whether it's dishsoap or shorts, you and your roomie are going to be exchanging things.
2. If you're telling me something, it probably means I'm going to tell her- especially if it relates to her.
While some things are kept secret, there's nothing like venting at the end of a long day- and you're going to tell each other everything.
3. You learn all of her habits.
When you live with someone, you're definitely going to pick up on everything- from when they shower to their favorite outfit to whether they do their homework at their desk or on their bed. You'll know when they have early classes and what days they stay up until 4:00 a.m. You'll have memorized their favorite TV shows and you'll be singing along to all their favorite songs.
4. You do things together.
From shopping to eating, whenever you have free time, you're probably spending it with them.
5. You don't sleep.
Even if you have an 8:30 am class if your roommate needs to talk, you're going to listen. After all, of your friends have left the room, you know you'll be up for at least another 30 minutes just talking.
6. You can't imagine living without them.
From winter break to summer, even if you share a room with your sibling, you're going to look across the room and wonder what's different. Something is missing- your roommate. But don't worry, you'll see them again when break ends!
