At the beginning of each week everyone is so busy planning out their plans, appointments, and tasks each day. They have to be here at a certain time, meet that person at another time, and then make time for themselves every day. It's exhausting and no one takes the time to think about the simplicity in life.
The simple life moments are right outside your door step. Taking a few hours to enjoy your alone time should not be stuck sitting on your couch in front of a T.V.. It's time to embrace the chance that you get to be outside and enjoy to nature.
Sometimes it takes more effort and mental motivation but you just have to get out there and do it without thinking about it too hard. Once you're outside, you realize there is a whole world out there.
Pack a backpack of what you may need including chap stick, sunscreen, flip flops, a change of clothes, and money. Maybe even throw in a pair of headphones and let the music take your sense of direction.
You just have to start walking or use inexpensive transportation to get from point A to point "unknown". Take a walk on the wild side, take the train to a spot you've always wanted to go to, or ride your bike along whatever path may come across your way.
You never know who you might run into, you may meet someone new, or you may capture a glimpse of something beautiful that you have never seen.
When you realize you're taking a minute to look at your phone and you see that your phone is dying. Trust me, it's not the end of the world. It's pretty easy to know how you got to where you were and you may just have to turn around and head back home if you feel uncomfortable without your cell phone.
Walking outside and enjoying the simple things in life right in front of you is a blessing in disguise. Sometimes we get too caught up in looking for whats next, or what our next plan is, or the next time we can get to go there or go here. Instead when we have the free time, we need to simply enjoy it by the beauty right at our finger tips.
