ALL.

Of the potatoes.

I love Rimworld. It is the most addicting game I have ever played, and I used to play WoW for like... ever.

The game is this little delightful and utterly-stressful colony simulator. The main mod,Crashlanded, has three spaceship passengers crash land onto an alien world with the goal to rebuild their ship to escape. Ideally, you need to set-up yourself so you can survive until you have the time to rebuild your ship. Setting up growing areas and stockpile warehouses are essential the first day, as it can mean life or death within the next week as you only have so much food to start with.

The combat system is absolutely amazing. Each NPC has a well-coded system for finding the best spot to take cover and lay down fire, and using algorithms that take-in the skills in combat, colonists can miss or hit their targets with great or terrible accuracy. Pirates come and attack, as well as androids. Sometimes, you are given the opportunity to save runaway NPCs from other towns and risk attack by their attackers. Combat is probably the most stressful thing in this game, as it takes time, effort, and resources for your colonists to heal after battle and rebuild as well as the frequency increases the larger and more successful your colony is.

This game allows you to customize jobs specifically within your colony, allowing the most efficient run. It also shows which jobs each colonist is more skillful in (the bright boxes) as well as allows you add Manual Priorities, which gives you tiers of importance.

All in all, this game is an absolute masterpiece. Even though it is still in Alpha, it is practically a complete game. I didn't even get to include all the other goodies, such as the mentality-morality system and the secret areas.

If you want to grab this sucker, it's on Steam right now! Thirty bucks may be a bit much, but trust me. It's worth it.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
