Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson: they are both hilarious on their own, but what if there was something better? What if these two comedians starred in a movie about the CIA? Fighting crime one step at a time? Have you been thinking about this, wondering if this preposterous idea would ever happen? Well, it happened.

Central Intelligence came out on Friday, June 17th. This film is an action comedy. If you’re a person who does not enjoy watching guns being shot at other people, you should still watch this movie. I am one of those people who can’t stand any kind of violence. I did not know much about Central Intelligence going into the movie. Let’s be honest, I just watched the Snapchat advertisement and called it a day. That made me really want to see this film! So I did not know what to expect.

In Central Intelligence, there’s a lot of gun shooting, perhaps a little too much, but don’t take that into account. If you can’t stand the sound, then don’t watch it. But then again, I don’t control your life, so do whatever you want! But I’m very glad I saw this movie with my dad for Father’s Day. It was a wonderful bonding moment.

Now to the plot! I’m sure you have all been waiting for me to tell you what this film is actually about. That’s what a review does! Central Intelligence is about Calvin Joyner, played by Kevin Hart, accepting a friend request on Facebook from a man named Bob Stone, played by Dwayne Johnson. Bob Stone was once called Fat Robbie in high school. He was bullied and was humiliated at his high school graduation. Now you can picture how muscular and lean Dwayne Johnson is, so when Calvin Joyner sees him, he is shocked! Bob messages Calvin to meet him at a bar. They meet and become friends. Of course that’s always the way. People make friends much faster in movies than in real life. Anyway, Bob pulls Calvin into this mission with the CIA. The whole mission is to find the Black Dodger. Both characters are put into many dangerous situations. They almost get killed a various number of times. The movie scares its audience because the audience is emotionally involved with these characters. Yet, it’s not all action. There are many funny moments between characters as well.

Let me warn you, this movie is not clean! It has many swears and other inappropriate aspects. But I loved Central Intelligence. It was the first time I watched a movie that had a lot of action. My favorite character was Calvin because, let’s face it, Kevin Hart is a comedic genius. Dwayne Johnson is too, don’t get me wrong, but Kevin Hart is epic.

If you’re looking for a movie to watch with your dad, or anyone who enjoys this type of movie, watch it! There are many reasons why. I’ll name a few:

1. Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson star in it.

2. There are a lot of suspenseful moments that keep you hanging. You’ll be on the edge of your seat!

3. It's hilarious!

That’s why. Take a break from the daily grind and enjoy a film that lets you escape from your own reality for an hour and a half. The chores can wait, everything can wait. Relax, turn off your cell phone, and enjoy Central Intelligence.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
