The other night, "The Voice" contestant, and YouTuber, Christina Grimmie was shot and killed after her show while selflessly meeting fans. If you're anything like me, a million YouTube tabs are constantly open. We grew up with these YouTubers, and they became a big part of our lives with every video. These YouTubers inspire us, and their videos can instantly make a terrible mood better.
Christina Grimmie was one of the original YouTube musicians. She could play piano like no other. I'll never forget wanting scene hair when I was 13 because of her. I'm not really sure what the world needs: gun control, better security, or Jesus. It's really difficult for me not to become bitter about the terrible things people do to the best people. As of right now, I am grieving. I feel as though I have lost a dear friend. She was always so down-to-earth, and a firm believer of God.
Rather than focusing on the what-ifs, the all-around terrible occurrence, and becoming more anxious than we all have to be, let's remember Christina for the person that she was.
I know it is so easy to beg God for answers, and become bitter towards Him or the world, but Christina would't want that. I have no doubts of where she is right now. She left a huge legacy and will forever be in our hearts. My heart goes out to her friends, family, and all of us.
