It's the time of year that gets college students more anxious than any other time of the year: registration. The time has come and it feels almost like a Hunger Games to get in that lab you need in order to graduate on time. Even though you have an exact game plan on how to register for classes no amount of preparation can actually get you prepared. So in the end registration ends up going along something along the lines as this...
You're sitting at your computer ready for your registration time slot to open and you're motivating yourself that you can survive another round of registering for classes.
Then the time starts to register. It hits you that this is a more daunting task than it seems.
You try to sign up for the class you need the most and you see that it is full. Since it's full you have to wait a whole year to take it.
Now you are signing up the class you want to take the least (probably your hardest class) and you're trying to tell yourself this class is going to be better than you think.
Now you finally signed up for a class and you got the teacher you wanted.
All the classes you need are filling up so you have to pick classes you had no intention to take until a little while later.
And then the rest of your schedule is full of electives that have nothing to do with your major because you have to have a certain amount of hours.
You did it. You finally registered for the next semester and you celebrate your victory.
