Refreshing Takes on Classic Christmas Tunes

Are you tired of the same Christmas songs playing on the radio over and over? Do you want something else to listen to that's still festive? Well not to worry, I have complied a list of some holiday music that's not painfully classic..

1. Anything by Tran-Siberian Orchestra (TSO)

TSO is more electronic, but their songs are so catchy and still put you in the holiday spirit. "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo" and "Christmas Canon" are a few of my personal favorites you should give a listen. They are loud, intense, festive and awesome.

2. Anything on the "A Pentatonix Christmas" album

For those of you that don't know, Pentatonix is an acapella group, but they usually do remakes of already popular songs. Their takes on the holiday classics are original and refreshing!

3. Instrumental Christmas music

There is a Spotify genre dedicated just to this! While singing along to carols can be fun, it is also relaxing to let the instruments carry you into a festive place.

4. Michael Buble

Michael Buble!! This guy is awesome. With the voice of an angel, you will not find yourself annoyed with his singing of the classics. He has his own Christmas album, and it's awesome!

So give some of these a listen for a new take on Christmas classics!
