Three friends. Seven days. Twenty-four cans of Red Bull.
Charlie Carpenter, Nick Carlton, and Blake Migliara are three UNC-Chapel Hill students who make up Team "On a Boat." They have the dream to travel through Europe and face the ultimate challenge of using only Red Bull as currency while completing as many tasks as possible in the Red Bull "Can You Make It?" challenge. The three posses all the essential qualities to face such ridiculous circumstances, charm people into helping them overcome the challenges they will face, and have an incredible time doing so.
The first member, Charlie, is a sophomore hailing from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is the creative leader of the team and constantly pushes his friends to step out of the box and try something new -- whether it's trying plantain chips, skydiving, or being pulled on a longboard going 30 miles an hour.
Nick, the emotional anchor of the team, is a sophomore from Hickory, North Carolina, who always keeps everyone positive and looking forward, no matter what happens, which will be essential during the Red Bull challenge. Plus, he vapes, bro.
Blake, the final member of the team, is a junior from Wilmington, North Carolina. He's the man that will jump on an opportunity instantly and focus all his attention on it... while occasionally defending far-fetched conspiracy theories and teaching his friends about cool shit like the Voyager 1.
The team members' diversity -- they study business, languages, economics, media, psychology, and premed -- along with their willingness to jump at any adventurous opportunity, makes them the perfect candidates for such an insane challenge.
"This seven-day adventure will be a blur of excitement...attempting to overcome the seemingly insurmountable odds of using Red Bull as currency."
Help Nick, Blake, and Charlie make their dreams become a reality. Only four teams from the U.S. South will get to experience this incredible journey, and Team On a Boat is currently in 10th place.

"Not only would this experience allow me to go to Europe with two of my closest friends, but using Red Bull as currency while practicing my French and Italian will undoubtedly lead to unreal stories and experiences that very few people have, unfortunately," said Charlie. "We're not even allowed to touch money. Such circumstances ensure my team and I will get something out of it, whether it's an epiphany-like career change or just the ability to meet new people and have stories to tell... whatever it is, I know we're ready for it."
