This is an open list to all cat lovers. Actually, this is an open list to those people who think cats are nasty, and now that I think about it, this is actually an open letter to everyone to prove that cats are better than people.
1. They Don't Argue
OK, yes, a cat may meow at you when they want attention or when they need to be fed or they may just meow at you for no reason at all. But other than that, they're not going to argue with you when they're cuddled up in your lap or staring out the window at the birds outside.
2. They Aren't AS Annoying as People
I emphasize AS because it can be annoying if your cat wakes you up with a paw to the face at 5 a.m. to be fed or thinks it's OK to scream at the squirrel outside at two in the morning. But other than that, they aren't as annoying as people.
3. Cats Are Easy to Entertain
If you have a hair tie, or a laser, then consider yourself set for the rest of the cats' life. Unlike humans, they aren't picky when it comes to entertainment. If you throw some toy mice stuffed with catnip into the mix, they're forever grateful.
4. They Won't Judge You
They will comfort you when you're sad no matter what the reason, don't care if you haven't left the house in days, and they definitely don't care if you're on your third season of your newest addiction on Netflix. In all honesty, they're just happy you're around.
5. They Give the Best Hugs
Have you ever had a hug from a cat? If not, you should get on that. They're the best.
6. They Won't Leave You
This is number one. In my 19 years of existence, I've learned something. People leave. Nine times out of 10 they leave. Sometimes with a good reason, but many times with no reason at all. This is why cats are better than people. Your furry little ball of fluff will stick by your side through thick and thin. What more could one ask for?
