To the show that is going into its 14th season, that’s been with us since 2005, I don’t know one person who doesn’t like "Grey’s Anatomy" or at least hasn’t given it a chance. I’m not sure if there’s anything more to say about a show so good, but here are 13 reasons why you should watch Grey’s Anatomy right now!

1. It’s based out of Seattle.

What is more of a reason to watch a show that’s based out of a city as wonderful as Seattle? I’m lucky enough to say I live in Washington, so a lot of times it feels like this show is being made around me. It’s super cool watching episodes knowing exactly where they’re filming because I recognize the scene!

2. The men.

I most definitely could have a reason for each one of the men on the show, but I’ll just group them into one. McDreamy? McSteamy? Jackson Avery? Alex Karev? Is it possible to even pick a favorite? Four easy reasons why the show gives you every ounce of eye candy and why you should watch it.

3. The characters' relationships.

Meredith and Derek. That’s it. Alex and Izzie. Then Alex and Jo. George and Callie. Then Callie and Arizona. Mark and Lexie. Christina and Owen. Then Owen and Amelia. Jackson and April. Literally the amount of twists and turns and relationships and breakups you go through in the span of one or even half of one season is insane. But you go through loving and hating then loving all of the relationships again.

4. The character development.

The characters' relationships easily leads to my next point of absolutely living for the character development of each and every one of the characters. Each of the doctors goes through being a lowly intern who barely knows anything to a magnificent doctor who can do anything. With that, the character’s personality itself grows so, so much, itching you closer to loving them.

5. The dramaaa.

What is a show without good drama? And if you know anything about "Grey’s Anatomy," then you know how ridiculously notorious it is for the drama it provides each season. Just when you think things are settling down, the rug gets ripped out from under you and you're thrown into another whirlwind of problems.

6. It’s so addictive.

There has to be something that this show gives off every time you watch it that makes it impossible to watch only one episode. No matter how frustrating or painful it is to keep watching, it's impossible to turn away sometimes! Luckily, you can stream all 13 seasons on Netflix. I hate to admit it, but I watched a whole season in one day one time. I have no idea how, but I woke up one morning and didn’t stop until 3 a.m. the following night (or morning?). This show is addictive.

7. The advice.

Every character has their own unique way of giving off the best advice there is to offer. Whether it’s dealing with a breakup, losing someone, or just needing a laugh, this show has it all.

8. After watching the show, you’re basically a doctor yourself.

Not only is the show addictive, but it basically teaches you how to be a doctor. Suddenly you know how to cut off a leg properly without the patient bleeding out or how to give someone stitches across the forehead. In no way am I suggesting doing these! But you definitely feel like you can after a few episodes.

9. Shonda Rhimes.

This lady, this wonderful, incredible, amazing woman, is the producer of not only "Grey’s Anatomy" but also of "Scandal," another incredible ABC drama-filled show. Rhimes works in remarkable ways to keep the drama continuing time after time and for that, she’s a reason to watch "Grey’s Anatomy."

10. The soundtrack.

It’s mostly all the sad songs you pick up throughout the show. It’s as if "How to Save a Life" was written specifically for this show. All of the songs on all of the most intense episodes are exactly what make the show exactly what it is.

11. It can give you every single emotion all in the span of a one-hour episode.

Whether it’s a good or bad thing, "Grey’s Anatomy" does a fantastic job of taking you through every single whirl-wind of emotions all in one episode! You can go from laughing to crying to being angry to just never wanting to watch the show again. But then you get over it and watch another episode.

12. It’s a good excuse to cry.

With reason 11 easily leads you to reason 12, which is a good excuse to cry your eyes out if you want to. It’s really unavoidable when it happens, but again, you get over it fast enough to watch another episode.

13. What else could you possibly be doing on a Thursday night?

Thursday nights at 8 o’clock, be sure to clear your schedule because as soon as you’ve watched one, you’ll have made it through all and be caught up to watch the current season. Or, if you haven’t caught up yet, just get in the trend of making "Grey’s Anatomy" your Thursday watch days! But don’t limit yourself to just one.

I’m sure my list could go on and on, but I’ll leave you with this. So just get on with it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
