Halloween is coming up, and it is definitely one to prepare for. Who can remember last year's treat? Yeah, that's right, nothing better than some rain on trick-or-treat night. And who wants to deal with driving under possible surprise rain this year, traffic, or public transportation on Halloween? Don't you just want to avoid all of these burdens and get wasted (and I mean chocolate and candy corn wasted)?
1. Why deal with rush hour traffic and traffic in general on Halloween (let's face it, in L.A., there's traffic all the time).

Oh, the beauty of L.A. traffic is just so overwhelming, right? I advise everyone not to drive on Halloween and stick with Uber to avoid this type of traffic, or an even worse traffic jam. Let's keep in mind that there is always something happening on the freeway.
2. Let's not drink and drive, let's drink and Uber.

You won't deny a drink with this girl, will you? If you are planning on drinking this night, what are the chances you are going to get wasted rather than tipsy? High. Do not put yourself or anyone you know in danger by encouraging someone whose had drinks to drive. Just use Uber. I mean Uber drivers are completely fine with drunk people (as long as you don't vomit in their car).
3. Save money on gas or even mileage on your car, and carpool.

Who are we kidding? Spending money on gas on Halloween rather than on booze? I mean, candy. Jokes aside, saving up some money on gas does sound pleasing and non-burdening. Saving money on gas, why not save your car some mileage too?
4. L.A. public transportation sucks.

Do you really want to deal with a crowded bus on Halloween? With perhaps someone's tail poking your leg or someone's witch hat covering your face? Let's take a look at these folks on the bus in the picture above, they don't look too happy right? Don't let this be you on Halloween. I mean Uber can help you avoid crowded buses, the mixed smell of horrible hygiene and fast food and someone's loud Taylor Swift music (no shade Taylor, love you girl).
5. Uber is definitely cheaper than a taxi.

Taxis are utterly expensive, while Uber is much more affordable. And if going somewhere kind of far, you can always use Uber pool (yourself and one other passenger allowed) or split the cost with one of your friends who also have an Uber account.
6. Uber drivers are friendly and let you choose the music.

Uber drivers are (for the most part) talkative and won't make the ride feel awkward for you. Plus, they let you choose the music for the ride. What's better than showing off your DJ skills in a car ride with your friends?
If you actually enjoy driving on a holiday, by all means be the designated driver for yourself and your friends. I am sure your driving skills will be appreciated by your drunken companions.
