Reasons To Watch Grey's Anatomy

I'm not all caught up on Grey's Anatomy. It took me a while to get around to it but I am so glad I did. If you heard it's a sad show, that's correct. If you heard it's full of drama, that is correct. You will cry and cry and cry but it's so worth the tears. Sometimes it feels even good to cry! You will get mad and frustrated but you will also feel happiness and full of love...until someone you love dies then you'll be in a lot of pain.

But besides that, you should watch it and here's some reasons why!

The cast:

First off, the cast is not full of actors and actresses you would know right off the bat. The only ones you probably would know from other works is Patrick Dempsey, Katherine Heigl and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. So it's cool to start knowing these actors and falling in love with them.

Also many, MANY famous actresses and actors pop up in the series before they hit big on something different. For example, Demi Lovato, the dad from Wizards of Waverley Place, Sarah Paulson, Mandy Moore, Mae Whitman, Jessica Stroup, and many more. It's cool to see everyone so young and before they made it big.

The cast also is so fine to look at. They are so beautiful both the men and women. I love love love McSteamy.

Okay so if that's enough for you to watch, there's also great story lines:

It's so much more than just doctors working in a hospital. There's love triangles, breakups, cheating, people who come out, depression, plane accidents, shootings, bombs, different jobs, and of course death. Then there's also the thousands of lives they save!

A lot of people have watched it:

Grey's started in 2005 so since then, a lot of people know it and have watched it. You could go anywhere and at least one person could talk about it with you. Trust me, you'll want to talk about it. I tell my friends and boyfriend all about it, they don't even have to watch the show when they have me. Random people will overhear me at work talking about it and join in. It's cool to see how everyone takes what happens with their own emotions and their own thoughts.

Your emotions will be tested:

If you're a girl, I advise not to watch this when you're super sensitive because you will cry a lot and get very angry. Sometimes it's good to let a cry out and this show does that for you but it's also annoying because so many people you love end up hurt or dead. Even when patients you met in one episode die, it will probably make you cry. The whole atmosphere is very depressing and some deaths are SO annoying and frustrating. You wanted better for that person and for their life. Why did they have to die!!

You'll either strive to become a doctor or want nothing to do with it:

Yes I think this show is so cool and shows you what being a doctor and surgeon is all about. The different fields, the different jobs, the work and time. But it also showed me I never want to do this. I can never look at someone and tell them they lost a family member over and over again for my job. I could never have someone's life in my hands all the time. I could never be on call which seems like 24/7. This is talent and a lot of hard work that people put into becoming doctors and surgeons. Their money is awesome and they deserve it. This show makes you respect the medical field so much more than you already do.

The cast becomes your best friends:

Meredith's your person and Christina is your motivator, while McDreamy is your dream man and McSteamy is the person you day dream of making out with. You will get very mad when something negative happens to these characters or when they make stupid, stupid mistakes. I talk about them like they're in my life and it's real. You will too.

It will teach you lessons:

I hated Christina Yang at first but after a little while I started loving her. Especially because she teaches you about self worth. She would rather have a man compliment her brain then her looks. Every girl should think this way. Meredith realizes that she's more important than chasing after men who seem like they don't really care. Lexie finally tells the man she loves, that she wants to be with him. Callie is amazing at forgiveness. After their interns, many of the cast members start speaking up and standing up for themselves. Everybody makes mistakes, even the ones who are the best of the best. After a hard time you can always pick yourself up, no matter what. Not to take anybody for granted is one of the biggest lessons you'll learn because eventually everyone you love has died :-) but still watch!

I didn't understand the hype of this show before I started watching it. But I can't stop watching it now and I can't stop talking about it. I miss the characters I once was obsessed with who are no longer there and I have a love/hate relationship with new characters that come in. You'll start researching why certain people left the show, it will hurt you. But this show is great and you should watch!

StableDiffusion

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
