Different people have different relationships with their siblings. Being one of five, I have an extremely close bond with all of my brothers and sisters and am so blessed. For those who need the gentle reminder, for those who love their sister and just want another reason, or for those who have distanced themselves from their kin, I hope this article brings you joy and love.

1. No one in the world will quite understand you like your sister.

Being sisters, you innately have a special bond that no one else will ever understand. You know each other's secrets, ticks, and quirks. On the other hand, you know how to make each other laugh. You have inside jokes that only you and your sister will ever understand (or think are funny), and no one understands your situation more than your sister.

2. Loyalty.

With sisters, there should be an unspoken rule about loyalty. My sisters and I always have each other's backs and will always be there to protect one another. Your sister is your number one fan and you are hers. They are always there to count on.

3. Personal Wardrobe Consultant.

Having sisters means you always have someone to ask their opinion of your outfit and/or make-up. Aside from making you look perfect, sharing your sister's clothes is an added plus.

4. Advice.

My sisters give me the best advice, and having someone to talk to who is not your parent or friend is sometimes just what you need. Odds are your sister went through the same situation, or maybe it is you giving advice about something you have already experienced. Your sister is always there to guide you.

5. Let the Good Times Roll.

Having sisters is the best, especially on road trips or special occasions! There is no one better to blast the music and sing at the top of your lungs with than your sister. When your wedding days come, getting to help your sister pick out her gown and walk down the aisle are memories you will cherish forever.

I could go on and on about how wonderful it is to have a sister or sisters. The love and moments you share are unlike any relationship you will ever have. If you have a sister, call her up, tell her you love her, go give her hug, catch a movie, or go to dinner, and just know how lucky and blessed you are to have each other.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
