5 Reasons You Should Head To A Movie Theater Instead Of Watching Netflix In Your Room

If I don't know anywhere else to go to, in order to spend time with my family and friends, the movie theater is always my first choice.

Despite the general amount of money that one needs to spend in a movie theater, the movie theater is actually a nice way to spend your time. Here are five reasons why:

1. You can watch your film on a big screen

The film that you are anticipating to watch will be finally shown on a big screen and loud audio right in front of you. From the big screen, it provides enough screen time for you to only focus on watching that film. The loud audio also helps you hear everything on what is happening in the film. Also, when waiting for your film to be viewed on the big screen, one can see commercials and trailers on the big screen. You get to see the upcoming films and get even more excited for those when they come to the big screen in movie theaters!

2. There's no one to interrupt you

The movie theater always respects their viewers and audience during a film screening. They want all cell phones silent or shut off. This way, the viewer will not be distracted nor interrupted when watching the film. This is also a perfect time to be only focusing on something else than one's concerns or worries from his or her personal life.

3. There are comfortable seats

Other than a film to watch, the movie theaters also provide a comfortable seat for you to sit on. Some of the movie theaters have their seats to be adjustable which means that you can adjust the seat yourself by pressing the side button, according to how you like it. From my experience, I remember the movie theater I have gone to, I was able to adjust the seat and have my feet up on a leg rest. This is one of the things to look forward to when going to a movie theater!

4. You can eat good food

Usually, I have been told not to eat popcorn and soda a lot because they are unhealthy. However, going to enjoy at the movie theaters is the perfect excuse for me to eat popcorn and soda. Going to the movie theaters is a special occasion for me to eat popcorn and drink soda. For choices for popcorn and soda, I would always choose butter popcorn and root beer. This food and drink combination is my favorite to enjoy when going to the movie theaters.

5. You can spend time with family and friends

If I don't know anywhere else to go to, in order to spend time with my family and friends, the movie theater is always my first choice. Considering that my friends and family love movies, it's always a great activity to do together and pass the time. It's also one of the easiest activities to do. Just buy food, drink, tickets and sit and watch. Sometimes even before the film, we get to chat what to expect and also predict what we might see in the film. Then, during the film, one gets to see his or her friends and family's reactions towards the film which is even more enjoyable to watch than the film. In the end, it's also fun hearing what your friends and family have to say about the movie after one asks them, "Do you enjoy the film?" or "Do you like the film?" Then, we go into a big conversation that might last enough during the trip back home.

In conclusion, going to the movie theaters once in a while is great for fun and relaxation!

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
