2. Making a difference

In the medical field, you get to meet so many new people and help them out for their future. You show them that you actually care and the patients see that you are doing your best to give them exactly what they deserve.

3. Always learning

This isn't a career where you just learn stuff in school and work daily. Yes you'll be working, but you get to learn everyday on the job, you'll learn different things about people and how somethings work for some but not for others. You'll learn daily.

4. Many opportunities

Many opportunities

Like I said before there are sooo many different career opportunities in this field. Doctors, nurses, ultrasound techs, x-ray techs, and sooo much more. Find something that interest you and pursue it!

5. Scrubs

Honestly they feel like pajamas and who wouldn't love going to work everyday feeling comfy??

6. Job security

There will always be a need for people in this field because everyone will always need health services. Finding a job that will always be needed in the future can be hard, but you can't go wrong with this.

7. Travel Opportunities

In the medical field, there are so many opportunities to travel. You can be the one to go help people all over the country or even the world.

8. Always a challenge

These jobs involve patient care, and not every patient is happy to be there or are in severe pain. They won't always be the nicest people ever so you have to be a people person, at least at your job.

9. You may get to save someones life

I know, you weigh the options. You may not want to be in the medical field because of the "in case someone dies". But that's how life works, and imagine all the people you could save getting into this field. Saving someones life can have a major impact on your life that you'll forever be thankful for.

10. You know what you want

Going into the medical field is like a calling. Don't do it for the money, when choosing a job/career you need to find something you will enjoy doing the rest of your life. Make sure you get it right!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
