You live with them, so there is no denying that you spend a lot of time together. However, you love this time together because you love your roommate. Your roommate has been there through your ups and downs and they always have your back. They take care of you and make you laugh. You owe them the world but maybe all you do is take the trash out. Here are somethings that you should be forever thankful to your roommate for.

They listen to your rants.

Life is hard. Whether you are in school, working, or both it can get stressful fast. On top of that think about relationships, hobbies and workout attempts. It can be a lot to take in and most of the time we just want to rant about all the problems life's aspects bring us. Luckily, your roommate is always there to listen to your problems or complaints with open ears. They always know what to say to ease the tension and you just feel better for having someone understand.

They bring you food.

It is a common thing for your roommate to bring you food. Whenever they get food they usually think of you and get you food too. They know all your favorite snacks and what snacks will cheer you up. They even share their food with you, and that is true friendship.

They are respectful of your sleep.

They fully support all of your naps and they even encourage them. They are always careful around you when you are asleep because they know that you need it.

They keep you laughing.

Your roommate will always keep you laughing. She knows your sense of humor and uses it at the best times. You both can laugh at each others embarrassing moments because you get each other.

They have seen you at your worst and they still love you.

They have seen you very early in the morning when you just cannot function and they have sen you when you are super stressed out. No matter if you are at a peak or a low they still love you and treat you like family.

They are always there for you.

No matter what time of day it is or what they have going on they always make time for you. You know they will always be there for you and they will always support you.

They know so much about you.

They know your favorite candy and what bands you are into. They know your style and your sense of humor. They know what stresses you out and what makes you happy. They know you inside and out and it is such a blessing.

They are so helpful.

They proof your papers and answer your crazy questions. They help out around the place you live and they add life to it. They help out on chores and they help you with projects like making a poster or trying to hang up a picture frame. They let you tell them about your weird dreams and of course they help you put outfits together.

They are your best friend.

They are truly one of the greatest friends you will ever have. You will always cherish the time you got to try to figure out life with them. They made you more cultured by exposing you to a new way of life such as new TV shows or new foods. All in all, you love them and you are so thankful to be their roommate.
