"The middle of the semester is the best part of the school year!" -no one ever.

The middle of the semester is something that everyone dreads. Between the weather turning cold and mid-terms piling up, it is definitely a low-point for most people. So, without further ado, here are three reasons why the middle of the semester is the actual worst.

1. The weather

Say goodbye to crop tops and sundresses! The days of basking in the sun and enjoying the warm weather are long gone. Time to break out the puffy winter coats and suffer in the newly frigid temperatures.

And lastly,

3. The homesickness

Remember when you couldn't wait to get away from your parents and be on your own? Yeah, well now you've been away from home for over six weeks, and you would be more than happy to be sitting at home under the watchful eyes of your parents.

So there you have it! Three reasons why the middle of the semester is actually the worst.

Oh, it's apple apple picking season you say? Wait, and pumpkin picking season too? I guess that makes everything better. Bring it on mid-terms.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
