8 Reasons You Should Willingly Jump Out A Plane And Go Skydiving Right About...Now

Skydiving has always been top on my bucket list. It has been exactly a year since I jumped out of a plane and I am strongly considering doing it again soon.

1. Nothing will ever seem as scary again

Once you are riding in a tiny plane up 10,000 feet and then are told to jump, nothing will seem scary again. Now if I am hesitant to do things, I always tell myself "you jumped out of a plane, you got this."

2. Get epic pics

Do it for the gram, but maybe hide it from gram because she will call you crazy. The pictures from the jump are breathtaking and would definitely make you seem like a badass. They also take a video of the jump so you can relive it again and again once safely on the ground.

3. Face a fear

Whether it is the fear of planes, heights, takings risks, or the entire thing, conquering the jump would be a segue to start facing any fear head on.

4. Gain a new perspective

There is nothing more calming, and no I am not being sarcastic, then swinging your legs over to see the clouds and sky passing below you. It is a beautiful scene and can only be viewed right before a jump.

5. Bragging Rights

Ever been asked to disclose a "fun fact" about yourself? Well, if you go skydiving, you will never have to struggle to find something interesting to say again.

6. Priceless Rush

I have never experienced something as freeing and exhilarating as jumping out of a plane. It happens so quickly, but also feels like you are up there forever. It is incomparable to any other thrill-seeking activity.

7. Take a risk

I was never big into taking risks, even calculated ones. After skydiving, I realized how important it is to push yourself to do things that are out of your comfort zone.

8. Honestly, because why not

Skydiving is a fun activity with many safe and trusted facilities all over the country and world. If you are even thinking about it a litter, go do it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
