"Friday Night Lights" is by far one of the best sports dramas ever made. If you haven't watched it yet, I strongly suggest you start binge watching. If you have seen it, you know exactly why it's so awesome.
1. You have both laughed and cried while watching.
There have been so many happy moments, but some sad ones, too. You smiled when the Panthers or Lions won those big games. Maybe you cried when almost all the original cast went off to college, or when Tim saved Billy from going to jail.
2. It has shown you what a marriage should be like.
Coach Eric Taylor and Tami Taylor are relationship goals at their finest. They are each other's biggest supporters and have gotten though some tough times together. Yes, they have disagreements every once in a while, but at the end of the day, everything ends up okay.
3. It's helped you learn.
The show has made you realize that you are going to mess up and you are going to fall short of your goals. But that's okay, making mistakes is just part of growing up.
4. It's motivated you.
No one gives a speech like Coach Taylor. His words sometimes inspired you just as much as they inspired his team.
5. It deals with real issues.
"Friday Night Lights" doesn't sugarcoat anything. It covers all types of topics and shows just what everyday life can bring.
6. The characters are adorable.
Tim Riggins, Matt Saracen, Luke Cafferty, and Vince Howard. Do I need to say more?
8. You have gotten to see each character grow.
You feel like you kind of know the characters personally. You have gotten to see them at their best moments and their very worst.
