If you are a guy and have never dated a dancer, you are missing out! Granted there are some drawbacks like the long hours of rehearsal, possibly “dancer feet," or the fact that they probably own more sweatpants than you do. However, there are many reasons to date them that will make you not want to date anybody else!
1. First, dancers are incredibly fit.
Dance is a sport that will work your entire body for numerous hours per day. Arms, abs, legs, feet, calves, back — you name it — it will be sore the next day! Dancers will often find muscles sore that they didn't even know existed.

3. You will get to go to her shows and see her in tiny (and I mean tiny) costumes.
You will get to share those experiences with her, watch her be passionate about what she loves and see all of the hard work throughout the year pay off.
4. They're happier people, in general.
After releasing endorphins all day, they are bound to be in a great mood.
5. Multi-tasking is second nature.
They are able to balance family, friends and their passion. Somehow they make time for everything and manage to get everything on their lists done.
6. They are very ambitious people.
They have high goals and know what they need to do to achieve them. If you have high goals set for yourself, they will be there for you, and maybe even push you to reach those goals.
7. They are patient.
Dancers must be very patient in learning new choreography, trying to reach their goals, or waiting for opportunities. They understand that patience is a quality value in somebody.
8. They will probably enjoy eating just as much as you do.
After a long dance day, some good food is always on the menu for dinner.
9. Since dancers are so fit, it will probably make you want to be more fit too.
You will want to eat healthier and workout, which is a plus for you!
10. Dancers can teach you some moves so you won't look so awkward on the dance floor.
If you are already a 10 on the dance floor, then you will have somebody to compliment you by your side.
11. Dancers have the perfect balance of looking homeless, yet somehow looking put together.
Beginning of class they will look like they just got out of bed, and by the middle of class they will look like a put together lady.
12. If you are a weird person then you have nothing to worry about!
The girl you are dating is probably just as weird, if not more strange than you.
There are many other reasons to date dancers, but these are a few that stand out. Of course, all girls are great, but dancers take the cake. They are just enough girly and just enough of “one of the guys" to leave you an extremely happy man!
