My dad has been someone who I’ve looked up to my whole life. Not only is he an amazing father, but he is one incredible best friend and I don’t know what I’d do without him. Here are a couple reasons why my dad is my best friend!

1. He is my concert buddy

One thing that I will forever treasure is going to concerts with my dad during the summer. I’ve been going to concerts with my dad since I was a little girl. Our first concert together was Nickelback and Daughtry. I remember the loud screams from the audience and just the wild crowd. From there on out, we just always made this a tradition. We’ve been to so many concerts that it’s hard to count. Another one of my favorites was when my dad took me to see Black Sabbath for my 17th birthday at Madison Square Garden! That was one birthday I will never forget.

2. He’s always here to give me the best advice

My dad has always had my best interest in mind which is why I love him so much. He’s always gave me the most honest and helpful advice. I remember the day after my first heartbreak, my dad sat down with me and had a whole discussion with me about heartbreak and boys. My dad taught me what love really is.

3. He’s the life of the party

My dad makes every family event and just everyday a joy! His smile is what brings light to everything in my family. I don’t know what my family would do without him.

4. He is a hard worker

My dad always puts his family before anything else and he’s always working so hard so that my family can have everything that we need. I am so blessed to have someone so amazing and so selfless. I hope that one day I can be and amazing parent just like my dad is.
