Writing is a passion I have always had. It is such a good and efficient way to get all of your thoughts out for the world to see. The Odyssey has proven to be a very valuable opportunity for me because it gives me the chance to have my voice heard in a world where my voice seems to always be drowned out by others.

I write because I have a fire in my soul urging me to do so, to bring a voice to the people who similar to my former self were being drowned out by the mainstream. I strongly believe in the idea of being the change you want to be in the world, and when paired with the idea that the pen is mightier than the sword, it gives any writer access to unimaginable power. It's a power that promotes change in a world that is in desperate need of it.

At the end of the day there will never be enough time to speak all the things my heart has locked inside of it, but writing is the one chance I have not only to be heard, but also to be free in a world full of caged minds.
