What do you want to do before you die? Travel the world? Go to Disney Land? Buy coffee for a stranger? Looking at celebrities and social media influencers leads us to believe that doing the extraordinary, cool things in life in unattainable for those of us in the middle class. But in reality- there's not time like the present to get out and do the things that we want to do in life. Anything you want to do is possible if you set your mind to it. Below are some of the amazing people that have started crossing things off their bucket lists and have started creating the life they want to live and the reasons that they started getting out of the house and truly living.

"In 2008 I started writing a Bucket List in order to combat my depression and help give myself a meaningful life worth living. Since then I have added over 500 items to that list and have been engaged with this epic pursuit of happiness, all the while crossing things off and making myself and others smile along the way. That is truly an ultimate goal of this journey: to share smiles with others. I've crossed off over 100 of the items with some as simple as getting a high school diploma, kissing a stranger, going to the top of the Empire State Building, and Meeting Mitch Albom (my favorite writer and a huge inspiration to my success). Some of the harder and more complex items that I've crossed off include getting a Master's degree ( I actually have 4 degrees total: 2 Associate's, a Bachelor's, and a Master's), fighting a professional MMA fighter, apprehend a fugitive, and get a pair of Jerry Beads (had to get naked on TV to do that one). But one item I hold dear to my heart above all: Bucket List item #248, hike a mountain by myself. It was added to my list in 2014 because hiking was and still is a huge passion of mine. Except I realized how dependent I had become on other people, as I was too afraid to ever venture into nature on my own. But I did it in the fall of 2015, in grand fashion, as I embarked on a journey to New Hampshire, all alone, and climbed the largest Mountain in New England: Mt. Washington. It is very important to note that Mt. Washington is considered one of the more dangerous mountains in the world due in part to its very erratic weather conditions and complex rock formations. More people have died on Mt. Washington than any other mountain in the world. These are facts that anybody can look up as it is the most hiked mountain in the world which unfortunately means, more hikers, more accidents, lead to more deaths. And I did it, in some of the most ridiculous weather ever, all alone. I proved how much I can conquer when I set my mind to something, and I'm happy I did it. Please note that the picture provided was taken by a random tourist who took an easy bus ride to the top, a 20 minute trip for a small fee".

"My bucket list was inspired by some amazing trips I went on with my friends and family. Now, Having a bucket list has caused me to go outside of my comfort zone and do things I wouldn't normally do for the once in a lifetime experience. It also allows me to look forward to future trips and more memories".

"I grew up very conscientious of finances but I realized as I got older that I wasn't experiencing life because I let money hold me back. Making a bucket list has forced me to get out there and do the things that I truly want to do and helps me spend money on experiences rather than objects".
