Ranking The Best and Worst of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke

My friends and family know that I love to sing in the car. I wrongly think that I'm Adele when her music comes on the radio. I mean how cool would it be to be Adele? If I can’t be her, I guess I would settle for second best, singing in the car with Adele. But even that I’ll probably never be able to do. But for James Corden, that’s a reality.

Here is my ranking of his Carpool Karaoke segments.

26. Gwen Stefani with Julia Roberts and George Clooney

Okay this one was just weird. Julia and George looked like they didn't want to be there. Plus, I am always #TeamMirandaLambert

25. Mariah Carey

We have all seen Mariah Carey’s diva moments over the years. I am honestly over all the attention given to her. Enough.

24. Christmas - Joy to the World

This was a good Christmas edition of the segment. Right now, we all need a little joy brought to this world.

23. Rod Stewart and A$AP Rocky

A combo that didn't seem like it would work, but actually did. Rod and Rocky should go on tour together!

22. Madonna

So many 80s throwbacks we can all enjoy.

21. Iggy Azalea

‘Fancy’ will always be the song of Summer 2014.

20. Jason Derulo

Don’t mind me, I’ll just be dreaming about driving around with the very dreamy Jason Derulo the rest of the day.

19. Jennifer Lopez

The only thing that would make this better would be if Mr. Jennifer Lopez, aka Drake popped up in the backseat.

18. Christmas - All I Want For Christmas Is You

All I wanted for Christmas was Ryan Gosling under the mistletoe.

17. Jennifer Hudson

I really wish I could sing like Jennifer Hudson…. Can that be my third wish magical genie?

16. Elton John

Elton John and James do the ‘Crocodile Rock’, which wouldn't be complete without their feather boas.

15. Stevie Wonder

This episode was ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ with perfection, all thanks to the great Stevie Wonder.

14. Lady Gaga

The singer, who will be singing at the Super Bowl halftime show this year, sang some of her big hits with James.

13. Michelle Obama with Missy Elliott

The former first lady belted out some classics with James and surprise guest, Missy Elliott.

12. Red Hot Chili Peppers

One of my favorite rock bands, RHCP rocked the car down on their episode. Bonus - Anthony Kiedis and James Cored wrestle!

11. Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas

The celebrity BFFs let James join their squad for the day and hilarity ensued.

10. Broadway Edition

I absolutely loved the Broadway edition of Carpool Karaoke! They sang one of my favorite songs from the show, “Rent.”

9. Selena Gomez

Selena and James had a lot of fun together, even going on a rollercoaster. It made the episode fun to watch.

8. Carrie Underwood

The country queen sang for Jesus to take the wheel, not James Corden!

7. Justin Bieber 1, 2 and 3

You can’t think about Carpool Karaoke without thinking of Justin Bieber. He has made 3 appearances in the car with James and each time it gets better and better.

6. Sia

Sia has one of the most unique voices in music today. Sia and James in matching wigs - PRICELESS!

5. Britney Spears

As a 90s kid, I grew up loving Britney Spears. She can do no wrong in my eyes!

4. Chris Martin

I am a huge Coldplay fan and Chris Martin certainly did not disappoint. ‘Us Against The World’ is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

3. One Direction

I miss the 1D days… They were great together!

2. Bruno Mars

Mr. 24k Magic brought all of the magic to his episode of Carpool Karaoke.

1. Adele

Adele is the ultimate Queen. Besides having one of the best voices in the world, she's funny and can even rap to Nicki Minaj songs. Plus she is a Spice Girls fan! She. Is. Perfect.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
