Whether it's relationship trouble, moping about a bad grade in a class, or feeling mentally unstable because of a mixture of things; college is difficult. Not only with the academia, but with the lifestyle it holds for itself. I've created a guide to get you through your final weeks of this semester with little reminders and quotes to follow by.

Here are some words to follow by, thanks to my favorite TV show characters.

1. "In the end, there's no glory in easy. No one remembers easy. They remember the blood and the bones and the long agonizing fight to stop." - Grey's Anatomy

2. "Don't let what he wants eclipse what you need. He's very dreamy, but he's not the sun. You are." - Grey's Anatomy

3. "Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then look around. Drink it in, 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow." - Grey's Anatomy

4. "It's not about what you say. It's about what you do. You don't like the person you've become, then do something about it cause no one is going to do it for you." - One Tree Hill

5. "Every day you wait is another day you'll never get back again." - One Tree Hill

6."At this moment, there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just now facing the truth. Some are evil men, that war with good. And some are good, struggling with evil, 6 billion people in the world, 6 billion souls. And sometimes, all you need is one." - One Tree Hill

7. "People are gonna label you. It's how you overcome those labels, that's what matters." - One Tree Hill

8. "These decisions that you're making now, son, they have consequences. They go on to form who you are and who you become. Whatever you decide, be confident enough in it..." - Riverdale

9. "Nobody normal ever accomplished anything meaningful in this world." - Stranger Things

10. "This is not yours to fix alone. You act like you're all alone out there in the world, but you're not. You're not alone." - Stranger Things

11. "The force created by pressure pushes us to a place where we have to get through something together & often, that's when we are at best." - The Carrie Diaries

12. "One day, you're 17 and you're planning for someday. And then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life." - One Tree Hill

So as you're preparing for your last exams, remember to work hard and achieve your goals, but don't pressure yourself too hard.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
