Pure Love

The innocence of his love was so pure and untouched, She didn’t want to be the one to ruin such beauty

She was 19…

He was 17

But they were in love

Well at least she thought it was

He was the sparkle in her eyes

She was the smile on his face

But they were doomed from the beginning

Her heart was lost with her last love

He was trying to give her his

But by doing so he... himself would be lost

He would try and show her that love still exists in the world

Yet in her eyes everything she touched got destroyed

She tried telling him why she couldn’t give her all to him

But he wouldn’t let it stay so black and white

The innocence of his love was so pure and untouched

She didn’t want to be the one to ruin such beauty

So she said her goodbyes

He knew this was coming

He saw the goodbye in her eyes long ago

She had tears rolling down her face so gracefully

It was movie perfect and felt just as unreal as one

She knew he would always be there for her

And he would never give up on getting her heart

So she knew just what she had to do to save him

A month later she was found in a flowing white dress hanging from her porch

He followed her the same night

Without knowing what the other was doing they wrote letters to one another explaining it all.

She wrote:

My knight in shining armor,

I care so much for you, but I can’t have what happened to me happen to you. I love you too much to continue hurting you just to save myself. You are pure and untouched, and I am damaged and dead inside. There is no saving me, so since you have done all you can to show your love it’s my turn to show mine. I need to leave this earth so you can start again.

I will love you forever and even though I will no longer exist our love will.

With never ending love,

Your one and only Queen

He wrote:

My Queen,

I know you think by leaving me is saving me, but I don’t want to be saved… all I want, I mean need, from you is your presence in my life. You have my heart even though I might not have yours. But when you feel that empty hole in your chest I want you to think of me and feel warm once again. You are my world so without you I have nothing to live for. I will always love you.

With never ending love,
